The Knowledge Exchange Network

The Knowledge Exchange Network
What is the Knowledge Exchange Network?
The HELP CETL has tailored the Tomoye Ecco Knowledge Management System to form the Knowledge Exchange Network. It is easy to use and provides a set of features designed to support community development and members' involvement.

The Deployment of the Knowledge Exchange Network [KEN]
HELP CETL funding has allowed the development of the Knowledge Exchange as a long term project. In the first instance the Knowledge Exchange Network was established as a proof of concept project to be trialled, evolved and evaluated. The system and approach has been tested by up to 400 staff from across the UPC network along with HELP CETL external collaborators.

The Future of the Knowledge Exchange Network [KEN]
KEN has now come to the end of the proof of concept phase and a great deal has been learned about the use of technology to support dispersed communities. UPC is currently evaluating the most appropriate form of ongoing technological provision but for the present, however, KEN will continue to operate in support of UPC communities.
